Has anyone had a BabyBond 4D scan?

I am looking at booking a 4D scan for our baby and have found the BabyBond website. Has anyone had the "Simply 4D Scan"? It seems quite reasonable at 59 compared to the "4D Bonding Scan" they offer for 119.

Has anyone had the "Simply 4D Scan"? Was it worth it?

Thanks.

In tried but my baby would not co operate! She was hiding behind the cord, wouldn't turn round.

Tried chocolate, lucozade, a walk round the block, they still couldn't see her!

Only just seen this.

I had the simply 4d scan at around 29 weeks. Baby wasn't very cooperative so the pictures weren't as great as they maybe could have been. However, the sonagrapher who did ours was very skilled in getting a decent picture of his face. We ended up with several very clear photos and were able to see details like he's got dh's nose and my lips, which was a nice bonding experience.

If you haven't already booked then I would definitely recommend it.

I had my 20w scan privately with Baby Bond and that included a 4D view. I wasn't that enamoured tbh, it looked a bit odd and when he moved he kind of went all hollow which was creepy. Is the Simply one the one which is just the scan and no pictures or DVDs etc? That might explain the difference in price. If we had wanted pics/DVDs at when I had my scan we would have had to pay more.

I agree with Rocky, i found it a little weird too. The baby looked 'waxen' and had weird hollow patches on his legs. I wouldn't bother getting one again next time. A bit of a novelty and not worth the money IMO. That said, my sister has had it done on all of her pregnancies and loves them!

Had a growth scan with them last week and they did a couple of 4D pictures for us too. I'm 33 weeks so he's pretty much as he's going to look and we got some lovely pictures. Not sure how long they keep trying for though if he decides he doesn't want to wake up or turn over.

I guess at 33 weeks they would be 'nicer' pcitures alright- at 20 they were a little to 'alien' like for me! might ask them at the later scans to turn on the 4D again

We had 4D turned on at a 16 week scan and it really was something from another world! I would definitely recommend asking for it to be turned on at later scans :)

Ive just booked mine for May, I will be 29 weeks by then. It was a gift, not sure if I would of paid £179 myself but will be a nice experience.

Thanks for all the replies. We had a gender scan at 17 weeks where they flipped to 4D and would quite like to see him again now I am nearly 28 weeks. The website says you get pictures included in the cost so am thinking for 59 it sounds pretty reasonable!
