Im really struggling to buy jeans. I'm fed up of ordering two sizes only to find I need one smaller. They look great when they arrive then I try them on and they look terrible. I'm fed up of the returns and I'm not getting anywhere.

Whats your preference, under/over bump? I seam to hate both I like the ones with elastic in the pockets but they are hard to come by...

If I see some I think i'll order- they are out of stock! arrghh

Tell me how yours fit and if your sized up or down etc.

I bought some JoJo Maman Bebe over the bump ones, I've worn them from when I was 12 weeks and they're still wonderfully comfortable now at 27 weeks.
They do seem to be sized very generously though, I ordered one size smaller than I usually take, and they were still a bit big but I figured they'd be more comfortable for longer that way. I think they look great on, are really nice quality, and are only about 29. I don't think they have elastic in the pockets though.
I prefer over the bumpones, and the under the bump make me feel a bit exposed, and make me feel like my bump is more vulnerable, although I know that sounds a bit silly! Oh, and plus the over the bump ones hide my protruding belly button and give a smoother outline under tops.

With babies 1 and 2 I much preferred the jeans with the elastic in the sides, however this time I much prefer the over the bump jeans...I tend to buy next jeans and have found the sizing generous.

I gave up on jeans! My bump was huge and my bum tripled in size too - I just found dresses with over bump leggings a far comfier option. Mil bought me some from Asda which were stretchy pocketed though - I didn't like the shape or the fact they were from Asda but def worth a look, plus you might need a couple of pairs in different sizes so worth finding cheap.

I've given up on them, i just find them all too uncomfortable. I'm normally a 10, the maternity 10s are too tight around the hips and dig into me, then the 12 are too big and baggy on the bum/ankles. I've tried TopStop, Newlook, and a few more expensive brands too.. And still they dig into me in places. Just settling on leggings now to be honest! It's short term i guess, so isnt the end of teh world.

H&M jeans are perfect for me. I've gone for over the bump... Under the bump were hopeless as I spend a lot of time up and down and kneeling on the floor, I felt like my bum was always on show. H&M fit like normal jeans, really comfy. I got the same size as I normally do. £30 so not bad. I normally really struggle to find jeans that fit but these are so comfy.

I can't stand jeans in this pregnancy. Two things have changed: me! But also the cut. Everything seems to be very skinny cut- more than my last pregnancy over 2 1/2 years ago. And my legs get a bit thick in pregnancy. I feel like a tree trunk in pregnancy jeans. This pregnancy (my 4th) I've ordered trousers over the bump. I always prefer this. They tend to stay up more and also, you can roll the fabric down if you want.
This time, I have bought Seraphine and Isabella Oliver on ebay. I find the clothes so incredibly flattering and comfortable. I could never afford them in the shops, but most maternity clothing on eBay is in fab condition because items are used for a short period of time. The Seraphine trousers are brilliant! They stay up, they look good. After so many jeans returns this pregnancy (mothercare and the rest), I gave up.

I am an H&M over the bump straight leg jeans girl too, I bought my normal size and wore them from about 12 weeks to the end, and was 13 weeks overdue!! They are also super flattering, unlike the skinnies, and they wash perfectly!!

my gap ovr the bump ones were the most comfortable ones I have ever had, but they broke at the end of my last pregnancy :( I havent replaced them this time and feel there isnt much point now (31 weeks)

I've found under bump jeans are great for 1st and 2nd trimester, but once I get to teh 3rd they just annoy me so everything is over the bump!

I had two pairs I liked. One from Topshop with a flare and elastic in the pockets and t'other pair were skinnies from Gap.

Hi, i bought two pairs from Mamas and papas, although i'm only 17 weeks so bump is quite small at the moment (but my usual jeans were definitely getting too uncomfortable!)
They were both skinnies - one pair under the bump which fit me really well now, but i'm not sure they'll do me all the way through (I guess that will depend on how much weight i put on all over). The other pair were over the bump and are a little baggy but i've kept them as i think they'll do me when i get bigger.
The under the bump ones have belt loops which are good whilst you're smaller and both have waist adjuster elastic bits.

I would really recommend them - i had previously tried a couple from Next which were hideous.

Always worth a look on eBay for maternity jeans. Sadly a trick I learned too late.

Mine were expensive, in excellent condition and sold for about £1.00!

Topshop Baxter jeans. I lived in them for the last four months.

I love my H&M overbump jeans. They're the best jeans I've ever had.
I bought a size up as medium fit me very snugly and there wouldn't have been much room to expand. They're a nice dark colour too. I've got two lairs of overbump leggings from there too, they're comfy.

Mothercare over the bump for me. My usual size, very comfortable. £30 ish Smile

Last pregnancy I bought the Isabella Oliver skinnies and actually was really impressed with them - I got them when they were on offer and they really kept their shape, and I wore them for nearly a year after I gave birth as well Blush. I had some Boden over the bump straight legs as well and wasn't as impressed, they went baggy very quickly and I needed to pull them up constantly.

I've just bought some Gap skinnies (in the sale) and they are pretty generously sized - I have quite sturdy legs so quite often I can't get skinnies past my thighs, but these have plenty of room.

I found the Boden ones to be useless and frumpy (and expensive even with an offer) so bought New Look ones - really cheap and good range of blues to choose from. Under Bumps very comfy (tho have a tendency to slip down meaning I am often hoisting them up!!) - did anyone else find this?!
