Does anyone else feel this way? I'm only 31+2 so less than 8 weeks until elcs but I am so so over being pregnant!!

fiverabbits Sun 23-Feb-14 21:07:16

I had my DD at 40+19 days and she was breech. Had low blood pressure all the way through so spent 5 months over winter indoors as not allowed out on my own, only went to medical appointments as anything else was too tiring.
had DS at 40 weeks + 10 days, morning sickness all the time and 20 month DD to look after. No scans in my day, doctor said will know if breech after the birth, wasn't luckily.

lighteningmcmama Sun 23-Feb-14 22:35:43

Wow I thought I had it rough with 40+16 with dc1!

Inglori0us Sun 23-Feb-14 22:49:20

Literally felt like I was going crazy today gt. Dd woke up every hour last night, dh rolled in at 1am

Inglori0us Sun 23-Feb-14 22:54:07

Thankfully I had a sleep this afternoon and felt less mental after but now it's Sunday night, dh is packing as he's away tor work from tomorrow and I feel crap.
Baby is still breech and pressing on my lungs. The thought of another 8 weeks of this actually makes me cry.
Also, bump is huge and if one more person says "due any day?" I swear I'm going to go fucking postal.

38+4 here. Completely fed up, agitated and miserable.
Fed up of wearing the same crappy clothes, fed up of not being able to sleep.
Took dd back to to school today and ds back to pre-school after half term and feel like everyone's looking, thinking "is she still pregnant"? Have been asked by every parent this morning "not long now surely" comments.
Can't sleep, can't really be bothered with anymore cleaning as actually quite tired,, thrush playing up, I'm basically a mess.

thecakeisalie Mon 24-Feb-14 12:50:26

I'm 35 weeks and feeling exactly the same. I'm so uncomfortable all the time but especially after my evening meal. I've given up hoping to keep even a shred of dignity for the next few weeks. I look a state and my body is wrecked. My two boys are 2 & 4 so still expecting some form of normal life to continue but I could cry at the fact that it's still another 5-7 weeks of waiting, ds2 was born at 40+10 so I'm thinking I'll go overdue again.

It's really not helping that I have a horrible niggling anxiety about it all going horribly wrong so I can even relax and get excited I just want this baby here safe and healthy so I can stop being an anxious grumpy wreck!

At least it's all worth it in the end smile

thecakeisalie Mon 24-Feb-14 12:51:10

*can't even relax and get excited

Spookey80 Mon 24-Feb-14 19:45:31

Thecakeisalie I also feel anxious, want to know all safe and ok,, and it's making me so anxious and agitated I just don't know what to do with myself. Just want everything to be ok.

tsw Mon 24-Feb-14 20:23:12

I've been pregnant since August 2012. It's starting to take its toll on my body now....

colleysmill Mon 24-Feb-14 20:53:54

Well I'm all packed, should be all over by this time tomorrow.

I'm more nervous than excited (although I never get very excited throughout pregnancy, I was the same last time too) can't quite believe it's happening!

IMissSleep Mon 24-Feb-14 21:13:06

Me to me to!

Heartburn confused
Acid confused
Transverse/breech babyconfusedconfusedconfusedconfusedconfused
And I can't control my wind blush it happens without my control. Glamorous, oh so glamorous

Only 7 weeks to go. Can't come soon enough. I've been having dreams for the last week about drinking 2 whole glasses of winesmile

McFox Mon 24-Feb-14 21:23:15

I'm only 26 weeks and feel like this! Am in the bath for the 5th night in a row due to spd, I'm heavy breathing like a dirty phone perv because my lungs feel all squished, and I'm on my own because DH is working away. None of these things make me happy!!

MummyPig24 Tue 25-Feb-14 06:37:55

Dh keeps saying "hurry up" or "the baby's coming today" and has been symptom spotting everything. I've had a lot of very mild period pains but I know that can go on for weeks before labour actually starts.

Every time I go to the loo I hope to see that I've had a show. I know it's unlikely that baby would come this early (37+3) but I guess I am anxious. I keep thinking about all the different scenarios and what I would do. If the kids are in school/pre school, if it's in the night, if it's the weekend. Argh!

x0gawjus0x Tue 25-Feb-14 06:42:53

I'm 39 weeks tomorrow (just refused induction) and having my first sweep Monday, im very excited she's gonna be here soon but I'm still loving being pregnant and adamant that she'll come when she's ready and genuinely don't mind waiting for her aslong as she's healthy! I hated the wait for the 12 week scan that was the hardest part for me, not long now ladies chin up x

Inglori0us Tue 25-Feb-14 12:47:06

mummy pig I had dd at 37+4!
I'm actually hoping this one is early (but healthy) as I can not face this much longer.
Dd is sick with awful cough and chest infection so she can't sleep, I'm living in the North Surrey flood plain and i want a McDonald's milkshake.
My homebirth midwife is on holiday boozing it up in Trinidad and my DH is staying in a swanky hotel for workbavd has the fucking cheek to c

Inglori0us Tue 25-Feb-14 12:49:45

...complain about shit wifi. Bastard.
And I can't fit my bump under the water in the bath anymore my iphone autocorrect is giving me rage and my toddler unplugged my freezer.
All is not well in my world.

SaucyJack Wed 26-Feb-14 08:48:28

Finally 40 weeks today.

I'm going to assume the 40+19 mentioned upthread was a typo smile

Cacraig2 Wed 26-Feb-14 19:59:44

38+6 i.e. 10years and counting. This last 8 weeks have dragged just want one of these twinges to be the real thing just get on with it I want my body back NOW!! Plus every day baby is not here feels like a day of my maternity leave wasted and know it will fly by.

PiratesMam Thu 27-Feb-14 01:11:46

Well now it's after midnight so I'm officially 39 weeks today. What I really want back is simply the power to regulate my own body temperature again - so sick of my hands and feet being baking hot! Baby is back to back too, which is so uncomfortable and nothing will shift him angry

I think the furthest over my hospital lets you go is 10 days, although if I can convince them to do it earlier then great - my other 2 children delivered back to back too and it's not like it gets easier the bigger they get!

Vikkijayne2507 Thu 27-Feb-14 01:30:37

34 weeks and I was fine up until 32 weeks since then awful back and pelvic pain feel absoulutely huge nothing looks nice hate seeing myself waddling around only feel comfy in pjs. Im not sleeping only 3 hours at a time. I keep getting stabby pains in my foof, i agree writer my maternity clothes look too small so i feel like a tramp which doesnt help living in portugal with all these tiny slender women with perky boobs. Ive never had perky boobs being a 34 D originally but now they are just way to large and wobbly.
It takes forever to find a posiiton that doesnt hurt to sleep without heartburn coming and needing a wee. I have too much trapped wind which really hurts somedays and flatulance is just so lovely and attractive. grr rant over

Spookey80 Thu 27-Feb-14 13:06:21

So glad others have said about maternity clothes, I just want to wear something different now, look dreadful. 39 weeks for me tomorrow,, can't do another school run with everyone asking 'how long?' I know what a misery I am ay? Also worried r.e babies position as it's seems to have moved a bit, and I'm scared it could be back to back ( had this with no1 baby and was my scary delivery) last item was ok.
Feel so restless and agitated,., bored, but tired and can't be bothered to do very much. Also I've already had 1 months mat leave now, so only another 9 to go- how depressing!

findingherfeet Thu 27-Feb-14 14:15:20

40+2 here hmm I can't get comfy to sleep, I've cleaned, I'm ready...just bloody impatient/irritable/anxious - my poor DD1 (though I did

findingherfeet Thu 27-Feb-14 14:28:24

Ops....I did throw myself around at baby ballet and gymnastics, you never know might bring something on!)

Spookey80 Sat 01-Mar-14 09:10:30

Hi, I'm still fed up,.,.but just wandered if anyone has had any movement yet? I'm now 39+1 and feeling quite down, which I know is stupid, but just want it to happen now. I think maybe its gonna go on forever. I was very slightly early with my 2 dcs so everyone keeps expecting me to be early.
