Should I stop testing and how to stop panicking !

I have done about 20 tests now ! Asda, super drug , clear blue , and digitals but I just can't stop testing :(
They are all positive. But because the line isn't as dark as the control line I'm panicking ! I had a chemical pregnancy in September so that doesn't help.

I'm 15dpo so only 4 weeks and 1 day according to all my charting

Can anyone give me some positive stories to stop me worrying :) I have a scan booked at 8 weeks and 4 days I'm terrified there will be nothing there xxx

It's quite normal! Especially 4+1.

Get an independent verifier (DP will do!) to confirm to you that they have also read the test and it is positive. Plus on the instructions they all say the line doesn't have to be as dark, a line is a line!

Im afraid that everyone panics until that first scan - even if they've not had bad experiences before - and then you worry until the next one, and then you worry until birth and then you just worry forever Smile.

I'm afraid it's part of being a mum, but for most it gets better after the first tri and LOTS better after 20 weeks.

So stop weeing on things, go and buy your folic acid (if you haven't already!) and settle down and enjoy this fabulous, fabulous news! Congratulations! Grin

Step away from the tests. Use the pregnancy after miscarriage mantra "today, I am pregnant". Join a pregnancy after MC thread if it helps stem the crazy. Everyone is anxious if they've had a previous bad experience, but the odds are well on your side of it all being fine this time round.
Congratulations! And relax! Grin

My husband has seen them all and a nurse at family planning but I still feel like I don't believe them definitely will join a pregnancy after misscariagge thread :) I wasn't this nervous with my daughter :/ xxx

Stop peeing on sticks! The strength of the line shows how much dye the manufacturers put in the test strip, nothing else. I scared the shit out of myself with fainter than faint lines when I got pregnant in September after a mmc - I'm now 20 weeks with a very active baby girl despite almost invisible test lines.

Also - DO NOT use clear blue digital with conception indicators. They are not accurate and will just give you something extra to worry about.

Good luck.

I was exactly like you when I was 4 weeks! POAS every single day expecting to see the line getting darker and darker rapidly after hearing about how HCG levels should be doubling every other day. Then I just decided to chill out a bit and leave it a week (easier said than done, I know!) and my lines got much darker :) Now I just try to hold off on doing them 'cause I think it's a bit unhealthy to still be doing them at 6+4..! Although I did just order a cheap pack of 10 off the internet the other day... :/ Pregnancy makes me a bit crazy.
