Hello folks, I got my BFP a week ago and I still have a month's worth of Boots Conception Support vits left - can I take them? They don't have any vit A but they do have Iron in them... I know I could just take Folic Acid but I'm not totally in control of my diet (vegetarian staying with my pork farmer family while our house sale comes through) so I'd like to be taking some multivits in the meanwhile, and I hate waste!

What does it say on the packet???
I'd imagine you can continue taking them, particularly if they dont have Vit A.
What is the MCG count on the folic acid? 400?

Yes you can. Most brands advise just to use the pack up after your BFP.

I was taking the boots conception support tablets before this pregnancy. My GP told me to continue taking them until they ran out. There isn't a huge difference with what's in them.

Thanks folks, I suspected that was the case but there was absolutely no information on the packaging! Clearly just in so much of a pregnancy/cold-ey/rainy mind fog I can't even spell stupid! Not a good sign...
