One of my nipples is a bit sore. You know those little bumps on the areola? Well one one nipple a few of them have become a bit enlarged and sensitive, a bit itchy as well. Has anyone else experienced this? It happened in my last pregnancy as well but not until closer to the end.

Mine get really quite itchy at times, this is my 1st pregnancy so no prior experience but I have been putting a little bio oil on them and this has helped.

One of mine has developed a white patch, one is flat, they get itchy and sore, in wouldn't worry at all, dd1 bf fine on both sides. Yes lasinoh gel pads are great from the fridge.

Yep the Lansinoh is already being used. I will probably need more before this baby is even born!

Has no one had one of the lumps increase in size then? Never thought of lansinoh, will give it a try!!

Oh good, I was wondering about this - I have had a funny pale puffy patch on the bottom of one or both areola in the mornings. Seems to go down during the day, and not sore, so have decided it can wait for my MW appointment on Monday!

This is really common in pregnancy.

The bumps are called Montgomery's tubercles, and they make oils to keep the skin lubricated while feeding, hence getting bigger in pregnancy, in preparation. Sometimes they look like little pimples.

You're normal!grin
