Im 10+2 and Ive not rec'd a date for my 12 week scan yet. We were told at the 8 week MW apt we would get it in the post.

Should I chase up, should I have rec'd it by now. DH need to ensure he has time off work to come and it getting worried.

Yep. Call up the maternity unit where you will be having your scan today, hopefully they will either give you the appointment details there and then or book you in if there's been an error.

It's important not to miss that 12-week window.

Yes. Phone the hospital and chase it - sometimes things fall through the net. Very important that you don't miss the scan window.

Might as well, just in case - but some of my appts have come through less than a week in advance so you might not have been forgotten. You do need scanning before 13+5 I believe to enable them to do the nuchal fold test.

Im excited now its in the calendar! fingers crossed all is well, its my DS1 bday party the day after.

That's fine whiteblossom, I think it's 13+5/6 is the outside of the range for the 12 week scan.

Don't worry about dates - I thought I was 12 weeks when I had my first scan, turned out they thought I was about ten weeks, went back two weeks later and I was actually 13+1, so had been 11 at the previous scan.

Sounds like a lovely couple of days for you Smile
