So utterly sick of playing the name game...

DD is due in a few weeks. We have no idea what she will be called. The same thing happened with DS. He was 3 days old before we named him.
For months, every time we get with family of friends, someone asks what names we have picked and triggers hours and hours of "what about x?"
Now I know that we have large families and lots of friends who have all been amazingly supportive, but im starting to lose the plot!
I'm considering hiding for the next 4 weeks! Confused

Vile isn't it?
My heart drops every time DM says 'oh I heard a lovely name the other day...' and something which was overkilled about 5 years ago comes out.
And DH and I have stopped discussing boys names as it ends in a row.
What happens if we can't decide? Does the baby just end up with a surname or does the registrar get to choose?!

I'm a firm believer in knowing their name when you see them! It worked with my others!

:)

See- it got a smile.

I do have an idea of maybe something nice you could put on the list for her, but I won't volunteer it unless asked.

We've had to stop discussing names for a while, we can't even agree on one let alone two. =-O. Ds was 7 days old when we finally agreed on a name for him and he was the only one we new from 20wk scan what we were having. Dd 1 got her middle name as we crossed the rd to walk into the registrars.
