Well I'm 38 weeks 2 days and totally fed up of this now! Hoping baby will make am appearance soon. Had some pink discharge and mild cramps this morning but no signs of labour at all so don't think its going to happen any time soon. Can't sleep, can't concentrate on anything and don't really want to eat either. Is anyone else feeling as fed up as this now. The thought I could have almost another 4 week's is too much to bear!

I know what you mean. However I'm only 32 weeks so potentially still 10 weeks to go.

Although I don't want baby to come any time soon as she needs a bit more cooking but I would prefer not to go 11 days over this time.

I'm 26 weeks but tired of feeling anxious all the time!

juju283 Sun 09-Feb-14 10:08:51

Yeah the anxiety is killer. Its just such a long process. I look back and think I have been pregnant since last summer what?!

pettyprudence Sun 09-Feb-14 10:12:34

ooh you must have the same due date as me op grin although I am uncomfortable I actually want baby to stay put until at least next friday night but to arrive before edd. not fussy much eh?

pettyprudence Sun 09-Feb-14 10:14:09

oh and I have started to get the fear re labour which makes no sense as I had a really lovely, textbook homebirth with dc1 so not sure what I am worried about.

FredFlintstonesSister Sun 09-Feb-14 11:31:39

I'm 38+1 and totally fed up! I've already been on maternity leave for 2 weeks and really bored. I'm also starting to worry about the baby and how she's doing in there. I just want it all over with!

PastaandCheese Sun 09-Feb-14 14:32:14

Me! I'm 37+4 and I'm knackered, in pain with my back and teasing cramps and suspect I have weeks to go yet.

I can barely look after my toddler at the moment as I'm so worn out and sore.

I'm also mega grumpy.

I can't stand the thought of going overdue but I did last time so why should this time be any different?

Blondebrunette1 Sun 09-Feb-14 14:57:34

I've been over due date twice (the last was 16 days over) so fully expecting it. Right now I'm just fed up of being sick and tired constantly I just hope it stops soon and feel so sorry for anyone who suffers until they give birth. Going over is horrible but just prepare for the worst and hope for the best, max you've got 3 & a bit weeks left.x

I'm 40+10 and ive just given up trying tbh induction tuesday i'm fine with that it's everyone else that seems to be bothered by it

Blondebrunette1 Sun 09-Feb-14 21:45:08

Good luck nousernameforme, its the best way to just keep calm and carry on. My baby came really quick after the broke waters and I was well over due so hopefully you get a nice swift labour.x

LovesToBake Sun 09-Feb-14 21:49:12

I'm in the same boat. 38+3 today so shouldn't be feeling so impatient but DC1 was born at 37+4 so I stupidly fixated on that date again this time round and tomorrow marks a whole week since that date. I know she'll come when she's ready but I'm totally ready now!

Fedup1992 Sun 09-Feb-14 23:36:59

Hey iv been like this for about 2 months! But I am now 40 weeks today! Had a show yesterday and more stuff today booked in for a sweep Thursday so fingers crossed it will work

Hang on in there ladies! There is a light at the end of the tunnel haha xxx

Im 38 weeks as well and totally fed up of feeling tired and uncomfortable and would love for my baby to come now! I don't even know where I am going to find the energy to push this baby out tbh. Good luck to all the ladies here waiting for their little ones to arrive!

MummyPig24 Mon 10-Feb-14 07:51:10

I'm only 35+1 and I'm fed up. In a really shitty mood today. Headache, back pain, so very tired. I've got yet another cold. I don't want the baby to come yet, I just want time to go faster!

mrsmugoo Mon 10-Feb-14 10:15:08

Same here MummyPig! 35 weeks today and I'm not quite ready for baby at the moment but feeling really exhausted now, everything is an effort and really want work responsibilities to bog off so I can rest and focus on the last bit of pregnancy but unfortunately I'm self employed and so I can't just leave when I want to I'm in the process of winding things up though.

MummyPig24 Mon 10-Feb-14 11:29:59

I'm just so glad I don't have to go to work. I have two children already so I have them to deal with and the house to take care of. Don't think I could cope with work on tip if that. Totally shattered.

firsttimemummy22 Mon 10-Feb-14 12:34:56

Yes getting very fed up now! im 37 weeks 3 days but feel and look about 42! ive been told shes going to be a big baby as her legs were measuring 41.5 weeks at only 36! im only little myself and don't seem to have much weight on so I look and feel like ive swallowed a huge beachball! Im so glad ive finished work now but cant relax as I just want to clean and cook all the time, im hoping this nesting is a sign of her close arrival...

schmalex Mon 10-Feb-14 12:48:33

I'm 33+2 but measuring 38 weeks. Feel enormous and so fed up with hip pain, back pain and indigestion. I must be keeping Gaviscon in business at the moment!

We've also made the very sensible decision to move house in 2 weeks!

Have another growth scan next week as I have mild polyhydramnios. Hoping it hasn't got worse as I don't know what I'll do with the toddler if I get admitted.

The last month or so really sucks grin

Horsegirl1 Mon 10-Feb-14 13:03:31

Im 3 days away from due date and so fed up its in real. It's baby no4 and I'm 2cms cervix anterior soft and head fully engaged since 37+4 grrrrrrrr I've never felt so utterly sick as I am now. My pelvis is killing and constant Braxton hicks n plug coming away is just delightful haha
