pregnancy so quick after the pill

hi i came of the pill dec 2013 to try for our 4th child we started last month we had sex every couple of days in the middle of the month and got my bfp on the 3rd feb i was so shocked for falling pregnant so quick as i have heard all sorts of horror stories as this happened to anyone else so quick xxxx

i got pregnant first month off pill. im due in summer

I stopped the pill at the end of July and found out I was 5 weeks pregnant at the beginning of September. Pretty instant

Yep. Stopped in May last year, found out in July I was pregnant (despite 3 bfn) & had to have a dating scan as we had no idea how far along I was (was confirmed at 9 weeks.)

I'm booked in for a section in 2 weeks :)

aww so im not the only 1 then its so nice to no pple are in the same boat as me i kept think maybe my pill was working thats why i got pregnant straight away lol congratulations everyone im due october xxx

I came off the pill 1st week of Jan. Had a BFP yesterday ( and this morning). I've not heard any horror stories, I'm a bit panicked now what have you heard?

I got pregnant twice on the pill (different pills)

I don't use it now lol

Mumof3 what pills may i ask? Did you take them as instructed? ( I hope I am not being rude in asking, it is just I recently have gone on the pill... Dont wanna fall preggo on it and not know !

First it was micro-watsit, I did take it correctly however I was a bit of a party girl at this point and did a fair bit of being sick so I put it down to that

Then it was celest, and my gp advised I don't take oral contraception anymore

Injection has never failed for me

Yup. Stopped the pill 10 days before our wedding. Morning sickness started on honeymoon! I put it down to a bug.

I was on antibiotics taking celeste & we got a big surprise in nov, due in july. had a few dicky tummy moments, im guessing its to blame along with the anti b's

i was on cerazette pil ive heard how ther can give u complications if u get pregnant straight away and most pple i no waited up to 2yrs to fall pregnant thats y i was in shock to fall pregnant on the 1st month of trying xxx

This time, Ive not been on the pill for over a year as I cant find one that suits. As soon as we agreed to start trying I got pregnant 4 days later!

Both times we assumed it would take months but nope..

Dd1 I got pregnant on the pill despite being religious about taking it! Dd2 will be here in April and she was conceived within 6 weeks of stopping the pill.
