hello all, i was just wondering if anyone has any experience of this at all and could help me.
i'm 35+4 (next appointment isn't until next thurs) and my ankles have quite suddenly over the past two days become rather swollen/puffy - they don't really go down if i elevate my feet and i haven't been doing that much, they are quite noticeable now as i wear leggings and i have ridges where my socks are if i take them off.
my face isn't puffy at all and i'm feeling well otherwise, but should i be contacting my midwife at all? i wasn't sure if this was just a general pregnancy type thing as i know you can get swollen but didnt know if the timeframe where its been quite quick to come about means it could be something to worry about?
not sure if this is relevant but my blood pressure was slightly higher than it usually is at my last appointment (but well within normal range) and they didnt seem too worried because my bp is usually very very low and now it seems to be normal range and just said they'd check again next time i had an appointment.
thanks in advance!
