Getting a breech baby to turn. How?

I'm 30 weeks and the baby is breech, very big and compressing my lungs causing shortness of breath. He's really high up too.
I'm hoping if he turned to head down it might relieve the pressure on my lungs.
Any suggestions on how to encourage him to turn or at least move down a bit? I've been trying to lay with my legs up and no joy.
TIA.

Don't lay up!
Start crawling around, on all fours.
This'll help jig the baby into turning.
Worked for me, and this was one the advice of a really experienced mid wife.

spinningbabies.com Have fun.

Although, at 30 weeks many babies are breech, by 36 weeks most have turned by themselves anyway.

Thanks!!
I'm not too concerned about the birth yet, it's the restricted breathing and the fatigue it causes is awful. I feel like I can't inhale deeply. Dr has told me not to every myself. It feels like being at high altitude! And baby is on 97th centile so may run out of room sooner rather than later!
I do crawl around quite a lot (I have a 1 yr old!) but I'll make more of an effort to keep moving.
(:

I hung upsidedownish on the bed to give more room! However he managed to turn, in his own time, when I was just sitting down.
