Currently 18+3 with DC5 and got the pregnancy rage. Just thought it might be therapeutic to share some of those annoying comments. Here are mine:

There's no way you're going to go full term (really hate this, feel like they're wishing a premature baby on me)

It would be so lovely if you have a girl this time (I don't really care)

It's definitely twins (with ds4, after 9 scans showed 1 baby)

I'm sick of telling people to stop calling me fat or fatty.....

My best friend kept doing it thinking she was being cute and I lost it with her last week!

"don't be a martyr, demand an epidural. You won't get a medal for being in pain". I loved being able to say its a piece of piss. First baby, 9.5 cm before I saw a midwife, back to back with just gas and air for pushing.

Snap to "there's no way your going full term after last time" um yeah, I'm well aware I'm high risk of pre term birth, that's why I'm seeing a consultant!!

"Now you can forget all about the miscarriage" no, it's just made the pain much easier

"You've got it easy not having to labour and push it out" I don't see it that way, I've never laboured or delivered a baby vaginally, and would bloody love it. So much better than having my stomach sliced open

"If it's another boy will you try again?" No, I love my son, and plus I'm a human not a baby making machine

I'm sure there's more and I'm only a day under 10 weeks pregnant!

My DP's sister shouted 'Oi fatty' across a packed shopping centre when i was about 30 weeks, on my own heading to meet DP!
I was mortified but didnt pull her on it at the time. I later mentioned it to my DP in passing conversation not mentioning my embarrassment. We bumped in to her again later and he unexpectedly gave her a right telling off Grin he's a good'un.

"Oh you don't look pregnant" 21 Weeks and no major bump: Loads of people

"Was it planned?" None of your business Boss! But yes it was.

"You're having a boy" Really, can you see through my stomach because I don't know. Different boss.

Pregnant women are property of the tribe

My dad's explanation as to why it's ok for everyone to touch my bump. DH had to stop me throwing water over him.

Twunt.

Ditto RedCountryRoads - my boss also asked me if it was a planned pregnancy when I told her. Had to bite my tongue from saying 'how is that any of your business'? (It was a planned pregnancy as it happened, but felt it was quite rude of her to ask).

A couple of my work colleagues who are in the know have taken to calling me 'fatty boom boom' since my bump is starting to show under my work uniform. I'm hoping the novelty of the 'joke' wears off soon because I'm not finding it funny.

Was it planned?

Is Mr Sammi happy about it?

Not long now! Wait, you've still got how long?! How many are in there??

Is it twins/triplets/a hippo?

You look pale/tired/peaky

We you really are heavily pregnant

Did you eat another baby overnight

I'm 29 tomorrow and measuring on average. Sigh

"Get ready for no sleep"- really? I wasn't aware babies don't sleep through the night!?!?
Followed by "you're in for a shock, you love your sleep!" Again I think I'll be ok!

"Hiya chubs"- my father in law seems to think this is hilarious I'm 37 weeks pregnant sorry I'm not a size 8!

I have spd and it's really causing me a lot of pain ATM and I'm fed up of .... " you think this is bad wait til your in labour!" - this mostly comes from ppl who have not had spd- it's a killer- and again I'm well aware labour will not be a walk in the park!

Also the countless horror stories ppl tell you about their pregnancy/labour- before my 12 week scan of which I was terrified- my mil text me and said "your sil was told she was high risk got spina bifida at her 12 week scan try not to worry- obviously they we're wrong they don't always get things right"(niece was fine btw)Wtf?!?!? Not what I needed to hear after telling her id spent the last few hours throwing everything up and how nervous I was !!!!

These are just a few I've had preggo rage for my entire pregnancy!!! Grin X

comments that annoy me:

not long now! err yes 12 more weeks IS a long time!

are you having twins?
I hate that comment! I'm measuring fine but people assume there's more than one in there.

wait until those sleepless nights.
I'm up half the night anyway peeing.

is it Mr. smiles?
I want to punch people who find that a 'funny' thing to say when I've been with my partner for over 3 years!

some people just can't think before they speak with pregnant ladies!

Out of everyone, you're the last person I expected to have children (erm, thanks...)

Followed by:

Was it planned?

YES, thank you, it was. And yes, I'm fucking 41 which is actually what you're really getting at, isn't it? I'd still rather be old than thick and tactless.

You have 1 of each (dd/ds) why would you have another one?.... umm i didn't get pregnant to have a certain sex .. I wanted another child!!

People that think they know the sex - yeah ok ..happy for people to guess, but to say you KNOW infuriates me!

Look your waddling like a duck - Probably something to do with the SPD/varicose veins in my bits!

Could go on lol

Constantly being "complimented" on how small my bump is when I am having weekly growth scans because they are concerned baby is small. I am not going to explain myself to all these people but it is irritating to keep being reminded that actually there may be something wrong!

I've had:

You're not ill/sick, just pregnant. (Yeah well you try being pregnant!)

Any wedding bells?

You married? (Looks at finger) Oh, no not yet.

Just wait, you'll feel sooooo tired and sick.

It's definitely a girl.

There are probably a lot more but they're the same ones. Sometimes people look at my bump and then don't say anything about it either. Please don't stare at me!!

Omg you are huge!

You must be terrified at the thought of giving birth to a huge baby, it's going to ruin you.

You must be so happy to be having a girl... Errrmmmm yeah because my beautiful funny 5 year old boy never makes me smile.

You are crazy having another one with that age gap, it's going to be like having two only children. How can you have two only children? It's only 5 years and sorry I'm not super fertile and it took us 4 years to get pregnant.

Idiots!!

I think a lot of your sickness is down to anxiety, I don't remember even feeling sick with any of you (thanks Mum)

Hasn't it gone quick (longest 9 weeks 4 days of my life so far)

Only early at the moment then (if some insensitive from work hadn't told everyone I wouldn't have to have this conversation)
