I have no idea, I'm nine weeks and have been feeling like you since 7 weeks. It is indescribably shit. And I've just been signed off work I'm so nauseous I can't move around.

But happy to watch and wait with you in solidarity Wink

Eating little and often helped me. Biscuits of any description, plain crisps, toast. Sometimes just sucking a mint helped. Just remind yourself that it's not forever - it can feel pretty poo at the time.

I have no tips but I can hand hold.... I'm suffering badly this week. Finally stopped vomiting but this nausea is pretty stubborn.

Sometimes sucking on a fruity sweet like a pear drop helps me.

I found ready salted crisps, TUC crackers, icy fizzy drinks and ice lollies all helped

Dazed, be aware of that. A colleague of mine guessed last week just by looking at me, ended up having to tell the boss!

I've found birth the only sure relief for nausea in my pregnancies! Sorry :(

I haven't suffered too badly, but get spells of it on and off.

Dry carby snacks are good (Belvita biscuits are a mainstay in my bag at the moment). Bread, toast, pasta with very little on it are all ok for me. Salt and vinegar crisps seem to help. Basically a beige diet! My husband came up with the idea of a few drops of peppermint oil in hot water (not to drink, just to give a fresh scent) and that is good.

If anyone has any tips on the tooth brushing gagging, they would be gratefully received. My teeth haven't had a proper clean in days because I get halfway through and the start retching into the sink. Hmm

Also, mine is much worse when hungry, so I try to nibble something before I get hungry. This means I am putting on more weight than I would like, but I am at least managing the nausea.

Mozzarella.

I eat mozzarella all the time. Sounds crazy but it helps. A mozzarella sandwich and I am fine. But as I don`t want to put on too much weight, I still wait until I am hungry and nausea gets really bad then.

Apples also help.

No tips here either but lots of sympathy. It's just awful. Roll on the second trimester!

I'm here too, this week is proving hard work. Eating little & often, fizzy sweets & mints help, rich tea biscuits, just having very small portions for 'main' meals & forcing some toast before bed, my nausea is worse at bedtime, keeps me awake :,(
Everything smells, my own house is the worst, which is embarrassing!!

Not pg. but due to nature of job end up working with hangover most days.

I've found that apples help combat the nausea.

And brown toast with bananas and honey.

No tips but lots of sympathy. I have horrid nausea but not much vomiting and it's seriously getting to me. Sucking ginger sweets (got mine from holland and barrat) vaguely helps and I've ordered so travel sickness bands. I had it with my first too and it did pass after the first trimester but I can't honestly say I found much which helped.

I found the sea sickness wrist bands helped me a bit when last pg. currently 3 weeks pg, so must look them out!

Bacon or salt and vinegar crisps (much better than sweet biccies), percy pig jelly sweets and chewing gum.
Was also told by a midwife cold slices of apple.

Trying sea bands now. They don't alleviate it totally but are making a difference. When I take them off I feel much worse so they must be doing some good!

Meaty crisps (steak or bacon type flavours) and Haribo type sweets are the mainstay of my existence ATM, I'm sick from the minute I wake up until I manage to force something down between retches, as soon as that then hits my stomach I just feel sick, instead of actually being sick for a while. The trick for me is to not get hungry, little and often even if I don't fancy anything.

I am gagging while brushing teeth, if I'm thirsty, if I'm hungry, today I was eating mashed potato and the texture made me gag, couldn't finish tea. I just keep drinking fizzy juice it seems to help. I empathise with you all :) xx

I find the more dehydrated I get, the more sick I feel, so whenever I can, I am constantly drinking fluid.
I find salty crisps good.

When I suffered with horrendous sickness with dd1 my collegue suggested sipping on sweet, black tea and eating cold foods.

I found it helped quite a bit with dd1 and dd2. I suggest this now to my ladies I see during their pgs.

I snacked on sliced cheese, salt and vinegar french fries crisps and cold square sausage ( yes im in scotland lol)

eat little and often. dont allow yourself to get really hungry this will make sickness worse.

hope this helps.

Popcorn! It’s one of the few things I can stomach, along with small sips of fruit juice, cold coconut water and soda water. Bizarrely, I am obsessed with banana milkshake, so I try and sip that a bit too. I try and eat little bits of fruit through the day too.

I’m 12wks and my ms got worse this week - called my GP in a panic and he was very reassuring and said it was completely normal for it to ‘peak’ (his word) btw 12-14wks. I hope it gets better soon because i’ve been off work for 4 wks and having to do bits of work from home. Horrid nausea so bad I can’t move around very much and have barely been able to leave my home for 4wks!!! ARGH!! So fed-up, so lonely, so miserable :-(

I am the same, nauseous all day and all night. Mine has lasted well past the first trimester with previous pregnancies, I'm really hoping it will be different this time- school run when you can barely move is not fun.
It is making me so depressed, I'm hungry all the time but when I eat the nausea is so bad it's painful.
I'm fed up with hearing myself moan about it too, it's not something that's easy to put aside and just get on is it?
Sucking boiled sweets or lemon slices helped me initially, but this week (11 weeks) it has got worse and nothing helps.
Sorry, not any help OP, but it's so nice to have a moan to people who actually understand. I've forgotten how it feels to enjoy food.

Toast, crunchy baguettes and crisps for me. A friend recommended eating first and allowing that to settle before drinking. And not eating and drinking together. Cos the food then sits on the liquid in your stomach and can't settle. If it's really bad try alternating a snack and a drink every hour.

For waves of annoying nausea ... tictacs can give relief for a few moments.
