Feeling of pressure in uterus in early pregnancy - I'd be so grateful for some reassurance

Hi,

I'm current 4+3 weeks pregnant and I'm experiencing some pressure in my uterus. I also have lower back ache. Has anyone else had these symptoms together? Is it normal? I'd be SO grateful for some reassurance. Thanks

Hi pinkandwhite. I'm 5+0 today and had those symptoms a couple of days ago. Had more pressure today too. From what I've heard, it's normal!

Thanks vjones you're a star. Did you have backache at the same time? I just want to click my fingers and be in February having my 12 week scan!

Yes, had it for one day but pressure for more than that. Tell me about it - am having an early scan on Monday and am terrified!

Oh it'll be so lovely to have a scan. I've got one booked for Monday 6th Jan. there wouldn't be any point in me going before Xmas because I'm a few days behind you. I wish I could have one sooner. Are you feeling less anxious now than you were the other day? I hope you are.

I'm only having an early one because I'm diabetic and I have to. I'm quite nervous really and not feeling much more relaxed! Ha ha!

I bet the scan will put your mind at ease. They'll be able to tell you that your baby is developing normally.

Yeah, hopefully :-) Am also meeting my diabetes midwife on Monday too.

I'm just coming back to update this now I'm 12 weeks pregnant (just in case any other worried pregnant women read this thread in the future). It turned out that the pressure I was feeling was absolutely fine and nothing to worry about.

Stretching! I had that weird pressure feeling loads on my first pregnancy, not so much this time.
