Open to all elderberry grads and anyone who fits the berry criteria: over 30, 1st to early 2nd trimester(ish) with #1 after trying for a loooong time, and nervous as hell. Come on in for handholding and nub theory!

Hooray tally! Excellent work! Love what you've done with the place too.

Still a time limit in here I see. Lucky I'm only just 13 weeks then

Yay tally, success! I'm definitely still 1st trimester if Thunder is

Today I'm tired and fat. When is this bump going to become a bump rather than just a really lardy midriff? Mr Boom pointed out to MIL yesterday 'look how tubby Boom is getting' wow, thanks...

as for the question about Halloween, dh wanted to have a fun kids camp in the woods one afternoon, but I'm still too weak to get out there and the weather looks quite bad so I doubt our friends would join us anyway. I've never been home for Halloween here before so I'm not sure what the kids are Luke, probably little scavengers - they usually are. Shock

19 weeks tally. Is that still early? Yeah I'm sure it is!

We don't do anything for Halloween over ere. I think we must just be pretty boring Halloween Smile

Tally remind me when your due date is? I think you're a couple of days ahead of me Smile Kids around here are vultures on Halloween, last year we forgot to buy sweets and had to hide in the dark to stop them ringing the doorbell! this year I will just eat them all myself

I am soo buying doghnuts when I pop out in a mo!
Re halloween - it makes me feel a bit unkind Blush to hide or go out every year, and I don't mind the little kids coming round with parents in the afternoon. But there just are not that many little kids round here - only big ones who may not be that nice Hmm. So will getting planning on what to watch Smile.

Well done on the thread tally
foody poor you for being ill. My sickness has now stopped but I found I really had to experiment with what and when I ate as it could make a huge difference. I think the light waded ness is normal, its to do with increasing amounts of blood, and the breathlessness is nearly flooring me but I don't have any advice. Hope you feel better soon

BlindKitty · 25/10/2013 17:29

tal well done with the thread! You feeling any better?

foody we don't do anything for Halloween either. Mum used to make me go to anti-Halloween parties when I was a kid haha (she's very religious!). Did buy some sweets for trick or treaters (wont tell my mum!) although they'll prob get scoffed before Halloween anyway!

boom any advice for someone in breech position 1 week before edd? My friend is worried she'll have to have a c section

So nothing preg related here but thought I'd share something an elderly patient said to me the other day. We were talking about body measurements (I can't weigh him as he's bed bound) and he was like 'I've got 3 legs you know!' and winked! Grin

Got a good one for you kitty, a couple of weeks ago I was giving one of my pts their tablets and
I said "its just this little blue one" (it was Lorazepam)
he replied (very quickly) "oh, how about this nine inches of uncontrollable flesh I have for you dear!" It was really very, very funny Grin.
