I'm 38 weeks & 6 days pregnant.

I lost my mucus plug just over a week ago.

Last night I have really struggled with a sore back, hips and pelvis.

I haven't been able to sleep all night, and ended up cleaning my kitchen at 6.30am.

I'm am suddenly starving hungry and nothing is satisfying my hunger at this silly time of the morning!

Does any of this sound like labour is on its way?!

Can someone clarify this for me.....at my last midwife apt on tues, she said I was 1/5th engaged, I thought this meant only a little engaged but I've just had a look at my notes and it seems to mean almost fully engaged?!

Which is it? And if it is almost fully engaged is that a sign labour is near or does it not really make a difference?
