Hello All,

I was just wondering what cravings people are having and what they do when they crave something on the avoid list...

My own cravings have been for cheese, liquorice and oxtail soup as well as savoury duck (widely known as faggots) which is a big no no!

Craving red wine (I don't drink at all, even when not pregnant, just don't like it), liver pate and brie, so obviously getting none of it.

Sticking to scampi fries. I stink.

Cola bottles and turns out they're almost impossible to get hold of these days! No where near me sells penny sweets so the only place I've been able to get them is in sainsburys and their own brand ones are horrible.

I've been drinking a minimum of 2-3 pints of milk a day for a couple of months, it's becoming a serious drain on the weekly food budget! I'm 36+2 now, and I don't think I've had any others that have lasted more than a day or so. Love the smell of hair dye and cleaning products though.

Another for rubber and petrol here!

Every time I fill up the car I have to bend down and have a little sniff. It is divine.

But the best smell of all is bike tyres - I cannot express how much I love this smell and I'm making excuses to visit Halfords. DH left one of his new bike tyres in the kitchen a month or so ago. Usually I would have been nagging him to tidy it up but I haven't so that I can sniff it whenever I like. I would honestly sleep with it if I could. ...

I could linger around there all day sniffing the mats. I also want to drink petrol but that might be a bit dangerous. I unfortunately gave into the soil craving and put a few pinches in my mouth whenever I can't control it anymore. I shouldn't do it, but the craving is too much.

Mrssmith m and a do cola bottles. Part of their 3 for 1.50 range i think.

I've been craving cheese and anything spicy or salty. It's like my taste buds have been dimmed. I've gone off chocolate Shock. Found out I'm having a boy yesterday, is there any correlation between cravings and the sex?

Another for dust, petrol etc! Love the smell of creosote and wish I could bite a huge chunk out of our shed. Wandering around B and Q just so I can smell things - so weird!

This past week I can't get enough of cake! I just need some everyday.

I've had none, it's strange. It's more been a case of what can I actually eat that won't make me sick. So reverse cravings!

No proper food cravings, although if I want something I have to have it, but once I've had it the craving has gone.

Addicted to the smell of furniture polish though, my house has never smelt so nice I've been using it so much!!!!

I've also gone off chocolate Pinkbell123, although I can manage Terry's Chocolate Orange, mmmmm. I'm glad I'm not fancying petrol and the like as if I have a craving I have to satisfy it straight away, luckily I'm only a few minutes away from tesco! I'm not sure whether there's a link between cravings and the sex of the baby, but it would be interesting to find out!
