Ever since I got pg my face had turned into a million spots!!anyone else have this? This is dc2,and don't remember anything like this the first time around! Any tips to reduce the sheer number of eruptions?!

Yep. At 29 weeks it's starting to calm down a bit, but I never found a way of helping it (apart from covering up with a ton of make-up). This dc is a boy apparently - my first (no spots) was a girl, don't know if that's anything to do with it?

After washing your face in the evening swipe some listerine over the spots, and once that's dried dab on some sudocrem. works wonders Smile

I am/was spotty at 36+3 with a girl.

Ahh thanks for replies, now I feel less alone!I was hoping it would just be a first trimester thing that I'd be growing out of in the next week or so..oh well, I guess off to tesco we go for listerine and sudocrem!(How on earth did u discover that combo??)

Me too! And I wasn't even a particularly spotty teenager.

I'd had acne since my teens, but it flared up worse than ever when I was pregnant with DD1 (I was 28 by then). Then when she was born, it disappeared. Completely! Forever! Not. A. Spot. Since Grin Even through 2 more pregnancies.

I'd say just be as kind and gentle as possible to your skin right now, and hopefully it will clear up as soon as your baba arrives. I wish I'd never picked and squeezed!

I too , am a pretty spotty person!! In my first 14 weeks of pregnancy (i'm 17 weeks now) my skin was awful and got me really down.

I tried Mario Badescu buffering lotion and drying lotion and touch wood it has helped so so much!! I know they will probably come back soon and my skin is not perfect but its better.x

I've had acne since the age of 25 (now 28). Life's a bitch eh?!

I had just got it under control recently then BAM!! 6 weeks pregnant and my face exploded. Now 9+3 and it has calmed down but I think I'll have a few scars, esp as I'm dark skinned. I tried things with hydrogen peroxide or salicylic acid in, but I think they were just too harsh and made it worse.

In the end, a refreshing cleanser (from Murad for acne probe skin), washing with the hot cloth method and using an oil free moisturiser helped.

Good luck, I know it's horrible xxx
