You want some 'sock-ons'. Google them. Or from mothercare .

AmandinePoulain Wed 21-Aug-13 19:26:45

You need these grin

They sell them in Mothercare but I got some cheaper from Amazon smile

Ilanthe Wed 21-Aug-13 19:27:12

There is no such thing.

These are what you need.

Surely this is what babygrows are for?

Baby gap were they only ones that would stay put on DS.

Don't bother.

In summer, no socks.

In winter, footed baby gro.

Newborns look silly in anything other than a cosy onesie.

I didn't like sock ons, I tried them but they seemed quite tight.

pootlebug Wed 21-Aug-13 19:29:06

Summer - no socks
Winter - tights or babygro with feet.

AnythingNotEverything Wed 21-Aug-13 19:31:58

I'm not are babies need socks in summer. This is not a battle I would pick to fight.

Ilanthe Wed 21-Aug-13 19:33:56

Rompers need socks with them. Otherwise their feet get chilly, unless its 30 degrees out.

Wow, quick replies. Due to have baby on 6th September and have a few day suits that are footless hence the need for socks.

QuickQuickSloe Wed 21-Aug-13 19:36:53

Next socks stayed put, GAP were OK, M&S were ok and Mothercare were dreadful. I found this out in reverse order and wasted a lot of money on socks that would not stay put!

We used sock ins over baby grows as well, as he used to lift his legs out of them.

Didactylos Wed 21-Aug-13 19:39:03

duct tape?
super glue?

probably best stick to sockons

BitOutOfPractice Wed 21-Aug-13 19:41:03

BabyGap triple roll socks.

rootypig Wed 21-Aug-13 19:41:57

We had a box of Trumpette ones that MIL sent. They are £££ but they did stay on until she discovered her feet and delighted in tugging them off and they still fit the still diddy 10mo feet

onlysettleforbutterflies Wed 21-Aug-13 19:52:34

I found gap socks were the only ones that stayed on.
