Anyone due October 2004?

Feel very nervous writing this. But I'm in my bold "sod the doctor" mood. Anyone joining me?

Eyelash? (after all, I consider it to be you who got me here in the first place )

Anyone else?

OK - seeing as Fisil started it I may as well join too. I am due (by estimated ovulation and early scan) on the 4 October. Last period was 25 December so they may even give me a 1 October date but as ds1 and 2 were 11 and 14 days late respectivly I am pushing for the later date.

Fisil - good luck with the scan tomorrow.

I have my next scan on Friday and very nervous as they may see a heartbeat, or may not depending on dates. Also having bloods taken to check the hormone.

Have to go as dss kicking off!!!

CD - I'll keep my legs crossed for you. DBrother might see it all as a ploy to get him to remember at least one family member's b'day. Two days late & this one would hit his b'day.

Thanks for all the good wishes.

Chatee - aren't you due soon? We will have to organise another meet-up in the Spring.

I am an October baby (so is my dad) and when I told my mum that the baby was due in October she said it was the worst month to have a baby as you have to suffer the summer and you then have a long winter ahead especially if trying to entertain older children. Personally I am not bothered as so glad to be pregnant, and it is a great month in terms of school intakes. Also means that my childrens birthdays would all be 4 months apart!
Pie - any words of wisdom from your experience?

BTW I am 36 - ds1 is 4 on Saturday (I hope the card I painstakingly made is on cBeebies and am busy organising a children's chef party for tomorrow). ds2 is an adorable 20 months and very cheeky.

Any other joiners?

Quackers - our posts crossed. I know! Couldn't believe it when the test was positive. And the pregnancy clinic at Womens (miscarriage follow-up)is fantastic. Your pregnancy seems to be going well as well! You must let me know if you are over our way again.

Fisil - I remember how nervous I was starting the September 04 thread. I am still waiting on tenterhooks for my scan (only at 13 weeks )

Hasn't stopped me from telling all and sundry - never could keep my big gob shut .

Hope that you aren't too sick - I was horribly sick for a couple of weeks but this has tailed off. Congrats once again!!!

WAHEY! Congratulations to Fisil, Eyelash and Harman!!

I had the pleasure of starting the August thread and I do feel it's such a privelige. TO be able to print it off after the baby is born to keep as a diary of my pregnancy will be just wonderful.

ENJOY FOLKS!
