Suggestions for nice UK break?

I would like to take myself off somewhere for a short break, leaving DH with the DC before I have this baby, as I have had quite a stressful time. I was thinking maybe a spa break or something, where I can read, be pampered and relax, but is that worth doing whilst pregnant?

I am in Scotland and would prefer not to travel too far for health reasons.

Any suggestions?

It's a great idea. Me and dh are off to Brighton for the weekend. Booked a nice hotel with a pool etc. Will be our last chance to get away before ds is born in Sept. Of course Brighton is a bit far for you to go but you should go for it and treat yourselves.

do you have a budget in mind? Cameron House on Loch Lomond is lovely but not cheap!
I would totally go for it. I'm 35 weeks on Friday and DP and I are off for a couple of days to have a final chill out!

Does anyone know what kind of massages you can get? I am 35 weeks and I know hot stones are out but are there others?

midori we are doing the same thing this weekend - last night away before she gets here we figure. It is a shame I can't down half a bottle of wine at dinner though!

oops posted too soon and I've seen other places which specifically do pre-natal treatments, I think ESPA and decleor salon were 2 that I saw

Regularly day spa at Gleneagles, uter bliss! They do special offers if you sign up for emails and pre-natal treatments are ace!

Norton House spa in Edinburgh is worth a look- just stayed at the hotel and used pool etc rather than having a treatment but it was v nice.
