I'm sat here reading up on posts of women who have had multiple mc's, i personally have has 1 eptopic and 4 further mc's. I have 2 ds from a previous marriage and my now dh is a fantastic dad to them both, we have been tying to conceive fr 2 years now with plenty of positive tests but all fail in the first trimester. Intercourse is starting to become all about getting pg and then the endless wait each month to my next cycle. My dh is cared to have tests done because of fear what the outcome might be, i just don't understand why each time we get pg it fails. Has anyone else had multiple mcs but gone on to have a ds or dd?

Really sorry you are going through this.

I haven't had this experience myself, but I'm pretty sure you can get tested for what is wrong if you are having recurring miscarriages. It could be some problem which is easily treatable!

I really hope you will have a successful pregnancy one day - sending some baby dust your way! Flowers

Hi Southportmum! I'm doing pretty much the same as you today. I've had 3 mc but also had DD in between. Did nothing different with her except took progesterone pessaries. One pregnancy last year had a chromosomal abnormality so wouldn't have survived anyway.

I've had various tests on the nhs and all were clear. I'm currently very nervous and 5 weeks pregnant again but not feeling very positive. Taking 75mg aspirin and progesterone just in case and crossing everything that this works!

I don't have any advice really but as you've done it before there's a good chance you'll do it again. If you did want tests then you are eligible but you do have to wait a whole to have the tests and for results.

It took me 6 months to fall pregnant this time and both me and DH were thoroughly fed up ttc - we've been trying to have no2 since Jan 2012.

Anyway sorry I can't be of more help but you are not alone. I'm on a lovely and very supportive thread on the miscarriage board for others who've had recurrent mc and pregnancy losses so feel free to pop over.
