16 days since period was due and negative tests- could i still be pregnant?

I was due on my period on 6th (16 days ago) and still no sign... done about 10 tests now, different brands, first thing on a morning etc and all coming back negative (tried clear blue digital, morrisons own, sainsburys own, the strip test, first response early result.) i had my first baby 6 months ago and since then my periods returned to normal within a month or so, and i am very regular, every 28 days etc. i'm not stressed and no excess exercise so no reason for no period.
to add, with my first baby i didnt keep an eye on when my period was due, i just thought i hadnt been on in a while and when i did a clear blue digital it came back 2-3 weeks.
been to doctors and he said to go in on friday with a urine sample....i'm just wondering if anyone has been in this situation before and what was the outcome? really hoping to be pregnant..

Generally false-negatives are unlikely. False-positives are more common.
It could just be your body settling down after your first baby. If you are breast feeding, that could well have an effect on your cycle.

But the GP will be able to confirm this all at your appointment.

i'm not breast feeding, and like i say my periods returned after just after a month so for the past 3 months my periods have been normal up until now
