I'm 13 1/2 weeks pregnant and I have turned into The Ravinator! Sit back and marvel at what I have consumed today...SO (breathes in)

Muesli, yoghurt & fruit for breakfast (so far, so good, I hear you say)
Cheese & almonds at 10 am
Soup, sliced chicken, oatcakes, a family pack of mango, a packet of crisps and a yoghurt, for lunch
More oatcakes
Pasta, chicken, pesto, a whole tub of mozarella, olive oil & parmesan followed by a Magnum ice-cream chaser for dinner

(breathes out)

And it isn't even 7pm. What next? Steak, chips, a bottle of Malbec and a box of After Eights?!!

I could eat it all again I tell you! I'm sure this isn't normal..isn't the second trimester supposed to be some kind of serene episode of calm and energy? I'm starving and I'm knackered!

Dinner? I'm sure you could squeeze in more than one meal before now and breakfast. Grin

Someone brought donuts to work yesterday and I scoffed 5 of them probably indulged a little more than I should.

horseonabeach I do love my food, but I'm usually like a little robot with food - stomach like clockwork and more or less always the same amount - this is ridiculous...I am seriously considering a second magnum.... is there a helpline??!

WOAH a second Magnum?! Stop the press! Wink

You're being silly now. Just have the ice cream! You'll make up for it on other days and this is clearly unusual for you so just indulge.

I am like this too at 10 weeks. Could eat all day, only eating makes me so sleepy afterwards I can barely stay awake. I think the sleeping/inability to reach food from a prone position on the sofa is the only thing saving me from basically eating for 18 hrs/day.

I am 14 weeks and could eat from the minute I wake up til the minute I go asleep if I was left. All I want to do is eat and sleep. Surely it has to get better soon lol x

You are right, I am being silly. I think I am secretly indulging myself not just in food, but in pregnancy chat because I had a bit of time of it getting diffed up in the first place! So I am LOVING the fact that I can sigh and wring my hands and say, woe is me, for I am pregnant and stuffing my face! RUMBLED!

Quodlibet you need to set up a bed by the fridge - tis obvious! And RJM17, you sound like you need a similar device!

I went for about 8 gallons of water instead - it's a binary food or drink decision making process at the moment...

I went up to bed early last night to revise (am doing a course through work) and all I could think about was how much I wanted cheese. Couldn't stop thinking about it. I wanted cheese mixed with mayo on a sandwich. Usually I'm too lazy to go downstairs and bother but the urge was overwhelming.

I had 2 sandwiches in the end. It was with weight watchers bread though so does that cancel out the cheese?

I'm in bed revising right now (well in between popping on MN) and am thinking some cheese would be nice right now!
