...after LadyTH's thread, I thought we should cheer ourselves up.

My candidates:

-people randomly smiling at you on the street more
-being forced to eat icecream a lot (did you know it contains a type of calcium that can't be absorbed any other way? that's what I tell people anyway)
-chatting to dd about the baby's name and letting her feel him kick

so there. who needs sleep anyway?

getting to sit at the front of the bus

SHOPPING, of course!

SenoraPostrophe Tue 23-May-06 16:21:33

shopping? you have to be joking. I hate it at the best of times. I do get a strange kick out of buying teensy tiny things though. just as long as there are plenty of cafes on my route.

People doing things for you. Having an excuse to fall asleep on the sofa really early in the evening. Always something to talk about whenever there's a lull in conversation. Being able to make a baby! How amazing is that???

Esmummy Tue 23-May-06 16:42:42

Do you like the random smiling Alexsmum ?

sweetkitty Tue 23-May-06 16:43:28

Getting out of cleaning the cat litter tray for 9 months

skerriesmum Tue 23-May-06 16:50:42

Eating more cheese, avocados, and other fattening but healthy things!
Fantasizing about jogger buggies (I've already picked mine!)
Wearing my cool maternity clothes (sad I know, but all my nicest things are maternity!)

SenoraPostrophe Tue 23-May-06 16:53:18
