Did anyone have implantation bleeding? If so, how long did it last? TMI but, exactly 1 week before AF is due I started to notice pink/brown sludge only when I wipe after a wee - thought AF was arriving early but it's been 4 days of this now!?! Anyone else?

Was it similar to what I've described - I had it with DD but it was once & it was only in hindsight that I realised what it was - weird this time if that's what it is!?!

Had it with one pregnancy. Thought period was early and put a tampon in. Nothing more on it when I removed it later and thought it was odd. Then it dawned on me a few days later.

Was about 7DPO.

Yes, I had an implantation bleed. It started exactly 1 week before my period and was like the first day of my period normally but everyday for a whole week. I actually just thought it was a weird light period but when it stopped I still had all the sore boobs and bloatedness that I usually get before it starts so I POAS expecting it to be negative really but I got my BFP and I'm now 40+4 and bored waiting for labour to start!

I've told hubby period has arrived as was convinced it had. Period is due Thursday. I have 1 of those massively expensive tests upstairs (the ones that actually says Pregnant rather than leaving you agonising over whether its a line or not!)- to do it in the morning or not to do it!?!

I tested 5 days before period was due and it came up positive, and it was a definite line. if you are wondering then just test now,u can always buy another one in the week if u want to test again.alot of ladies seem to get positive results even before they are late, but everyone is different.let us no how u get on.and good luck!!

Had what I think was implantation bleed about 5 days ago. It was dark brown (like on the last day of the period) and was just a small trace when I wiped. I did a pregnancy test today (2 days before my period is due) and it has already come back positive - in fact it barely took 30 seconds for the result to flash up. Slightly in shock still - we only starting ttc 3 weeks ago!

Anyway, if it's implantation bleeding then theoretically your hormone levels will be increasing a lot over the next few days, so you might be able to get a accurate result on a pregnancy test a few days before your period....

I had a few spots of blood a week before it was the only thing that made me think I might be pregnant and I was!

Just managed to squeeze out a very small wee & did my test "not pregnant". Not told hubs I've done it. Now feel all deflated & crap - in other news it looks like the brown sludge has stopped!?! WEIRD.

By the way! Congrats on your news! (I can't see your name anymore as I'm on my phone writing this) x

What test did you do? I had implantation bleeding, brown/pink spotting, and then tested a few days before AF was due with clear blue digi and it came up positive, first wee of the day is best. That was a couple of days after the implantation bleeding stopped. Fingers crossed for you!

I did a test at 7dpo which came back negative, started having light, brown sludge spotting at 8dpo (thought my period had started early but was very light), tested again at 9dpo and got my BFP. The brown sludge spotting continued for 3 days until 10dpo.

Just tested again & another negative. Well & truly fed up now :-( clinging to the hope that its just to early to test... Would love to surprise hubs for his birthday.

Yes, a tiny smear of blood when it was too early to test even with first response type tests. Can't remember exactly when but could have been about the time you had it OP, as thought it might be AF at the time...

I think you may be testing too early tbh.
With ds2 I didn't get a bfp til 6 days after p was due.

Yeah, I had implantation bleeding when I was six weeks preggo. Like you, it was brownish and only after I peed. Don't waste your expensive test! I took two cheapo tests then a really expensive one just to be sure :p good luck! Flowers
