Braxton hicks at 17 weeks?

Earlier on I had quite an intense sharp pain right down my stomach, it only lasted seconds and apart from a couple of mild cramps that's all I've had.

I've read online it could be braxton hicks but apparently their not suppose to hurt, so I'm confused. I've had no bleeding during my pregnancy if that helps and I'm 17 weeks

I will do, but I don't see her until 25 weeks. It was only the once so I'll see how I go, if it gets worse I'll proberly give her a ring.

Sounds like typical round ligament pain, the ligament that holds up your uterus stretching. Sharp, like a rubber band being twanged/like a stitch? I used to get it a lot sitting down or standing up quickly.

Braxton Hicks are more like period pains/cramp all over your bump and it goes hard.

Of course if you think it's something you need checking out then do get some advice from your MW :)

Yeah it was more or less that, I was the same kind of pain I get when I cough sometimes or as you said, stand up to fast, a quick shooting pain. I was only sat down too.

I too think it sounds like round ligament pain. Brixton hicks are more your whole tummy feeling hard and tight
