I'm thinking about going to the baby show at NEC this weekend.
Anyone else going? Any been and think its not worth it?
Wondered if you got many good freebies or special offers.
We already have pram, cot, car seat etc but need some little bits like steriliser, breast pump, and didn't know whether its worth the ticket price to grab a bargain?
We have bought the iCandy pram so also didn't know whether I could pick up the foot muff for cheaper?
Am I mad thinking of walking around the nec at 35 weeks pregnant? DH will be there to carry bags

Not really sure it's worth going if you have already got most of the big ticket items. Although Avent packages on the day back in Feb were really competitively priced (you could get about 60% off rrp), not sure separate items were as well. You're probably better of just using Quidco and buying those on Amazon or other online shops. We did debate going up to NEC (from the South) to maybe get a pram, but worked out that with cashback we can get a better price online if you consider the cost of tickets, fuel, parking etc.
Sorry, can't help re being 35 weeks as only 29 at the mo.

I have just had an email after trying to win free tickets and have a promotional code you can use to get tickets £11.50 each.

CHEEK

:) (strange code because the competition was through a company called cheeky rascals, in case you thought I was taking the piss :o)

Thanks Tequila that's good to know.
Geoff thank you Smile
Still not sure we're only 30 mins away and weather not looking great Friday so very tempting but don't fancy spending more money to get in than I actually save.
Need to decide by tomorrow for cheap tickets.

No worries. Just dug out my Avent flyer from the show and for example 3-in-1 Electric steriliser - RRP £60, show price £40 - so there seems to be good offers on the individual items as well, however at the moment Amazon for the same product - £39.49 delivered. Microwave Steam steriliser RRP £26, show price £13.

I loved it when I went in Manchester before ds was born. Got quite a few things and felt that I had found some bargains- though I didn't thoroughly check all others avenues (online etc). Nice thing to do though as lots of other bumps/babies to coo over if ur that way inclined- I am!! X
