Just need to complain. My boyfriend is 4000 miles away so I'm complaining to mumsnet instead since I can't murder him in his sleep.

If I sit straight, my back hurts. If I sit forwards, my ribs hurt. If I lie down, my hips and back hurt. If I stand up, my knees, hips and back hurt.

The little horror baby keeps changing position which makes me feel ill. I can just picture him in there casually shoving my insides out of the way so he can make himself more comfortable.

Painkillers just don't do ANYTHING.

...I'm really excited about the baby part, honestly, I know I am lucky to be able to complain about it in the first place, it's just the constant discomfort, it's making me crazy.

I know you can't do it all the time but does a warm bath help? I find it really helps relax and settle me before bed the I can usually find a more comfy spot as I'm more relaxed. Keep focus on how far u have come won't be long till little one will be here and all will be forgotten :) in the meantime big hugs and chocolate!

I know how you feel, I'm the same at 36 weeks! Warm baths really do help me and I often end up sitting it in and topping it up for hours! Must be hard with your partner being so far away too! I moan quite bit about how uncomfortable I feel and I can't sleep well either... However, we need to keep in mind how incredibly lucky we are and I stop myself from getting down by reminding myself of this and how blessed I am to be having this beautiful baby. Not long for both of is to go now and it will all be worth it! : ) X x

Sending you sympathies, I think 36 weeks is the worst because you are so uncomfy, but still have so long to go, seems like forever. It isn't though, and the baby will be so lovely.

I found going swimming was fantastic, great relief.

Thanks, good to know I'm not alone here! I had actually just got out of the bath hence my upset that it did nothing!

It didn't help that I was so tired I felt stuck on my back in the bath and realised I had nobody to haul me out, feel like one of those whales that gets stuck in a river and they try to help them back out to sea.
