Hi first post :) sorry about detail
So I'm currently 23+5 and have been having quite an itchy bum, last night I went to the loo and was a little constipated but not as bad as I have been throughout preg. When I wiped there was a bit of fresh blood like the full bit of paper :/ was definitely from bottom, poor DP had to take a look but nothing there, does this sound like piles? Again sorry for tmi have the midwives in 9 days will mention it to her but i think that's what it is..

Hi,

It could be internal piles that burst (so you can't see them), or could even be a fissure (but I doubt that as the pain is unbearable for that)).

Did it pain when you emptied your bowels?

I've had piles since 25 weeks or so too, and doctor has said there is nothing he can do. I have been using anusol though after a bowel movement, even though he doesn't think it will shrink them, but I think its worth a try ...

Btw if you are constipated, having 1 tablespoon of linseeds (add to cereal) should help. It was recommended to me by a very senior bowel consultant.
