A really silly question which i probably know te answer to but me and ds are making a yummy choc cake and i am desperate to lick the bowl (who would have thought i am 32 eh?!) its made with our own chicken eggs laid yesterday- can i lick the bowl grin

Are the chickens immunised? If so you can. In my personal opinion though I'd just lick the owl anyway! Have you ever been made sick by an egg before, probably not. Also it would only make you sick the baby would be fine. DO IT! x

Are your chickens salmonella vaccinated? If so there's only a teeny tiny risk, if not then personally I wouldn't risk it.

I would if they were vaccinated.
