Just reassure me a bit, please!

It's not agony, but it's definitely uncomfortable.

I had cramping and a bit of bleeding at 6 weeks and 9 weeks. Had a scan at 9+3 and everything was fine. I had mild cramping quite a lot in the first trimester as everything implanted and started to stretch so i'm sure yours is the same Smile

I know this. I do. But it doesn't make me any more sane :o

Thank you.

I had the same and had bleeding later on so have had a few scans already (I am now 11 weeks) and all is fine.
They told me it was implantation pains at that stage and later on when I had them again they said it was my uterus stretching for the baby to be able to grow.
I really wouldn't worry everyone I have spoken to had cramps at some stage early on, and guess what....we all panicked so its not just you.
Congratulations xx

Ha! This is DC3. I ought to know better.

We're paying for an early scan at 7/8 weeks (I have quite the history of mc) but even that seems ages away.

A couple days before I took a test I was at work and had sudden cramping, I was certain I was about to start my period!
Anyway 2 days later I took a test and it turned out I was 5 weeks pregnant so yes it's completely normal!

Congratulations!!

I have had some today (I'm 6 weeks) plus the tiniest streak of blood....but reading these posts has reassured me a bit too. this is DC3 for me too and I didn't have this with the first two...

It's a tough time as it seems so far till the scan- at least yours is sooner than the usual 12 week one. Good luck, I'm sure it'll be fine (and I keep telling myself that too!)

We're going private for the early scan. It'll be worth it.

Hope everything goes well for you, mum.

And thanks for the reassurance, all!
