Weird taste in mouth in early pregnancy

Has anyone had this? I can't really explain it but it just tastes stale. Even when I've brushed my teeth, I can still taste it. I'm trying to eat well but the majority of my diet at the moment is made up of carbs and I'm drinking a reasonable amount of water (2 litres so far today) so it can't be dehydration.

I'm feeling really nauseous but haven't actually been sick yet. Could it be linked to this? Would be interested to hear if anyone else has had this.

Confused

I had a metallic taste in early pregnancy- it was the first way I knew I was pg with ds2!! Went away after the first few months though . I used to keep a bottle of mouthwash at work to make me feel a bit 'fresher' !
