I have been sneezing all day. I am fed up. But I can't take anything as far as I know? Or can I?
If you know of a hayfever remedy you can take while pregnant please put me out of my misery, I can't take much more of this.

You have my sympathies, I was miserable last year with the same. Apparently vaseline around the nostrils helps to catch pollen so it doesn't get inside? I suffer more with itchy eyes so I can't say whether it works or not. Hopefully someone will be along with more helpful suggestions.

My doctor prescribed me a nose spray when I was pregnant (beconase? Can't remember!). Worth asking if its getting you down!

Oh there is light at the end of the tunnel then. Will get me to the GP tomorrow, provided I can weasel my way past the receptionist.
I've had piriton before, didn't make me sleepy at all so that would be ok.

I took loratadine (clarityn) throughout my pregnancy, am sure it was ok to take.

My GP looked up the various hayfever medicines during my first pregnancy, and confirmed Loratadine was safe.

My GP told me last week that loratidine and certirizine are not known to be hazardous during pregnancy and BF.

Sorry - posted too soon. But, pharmacist point blank refused to advise me.... GP offered me a prescription, in case any other pharmacy refused to serve me. (Happened a couple of weeks ago over ranitidine....)

My gp has given me piriton and a nasal spray. The chemist won't give u anything without prescription and even then mine questioned it. But definately worth getting as I feel so much better x

My doctor said nasal spray only and to even avoid Piriton if I can help it?!

Last time I was pregnant the doc prescribed me Piranase steroid spray and it has completely saved me from hayfever hell. You can get it over the counter too. It takes a few days to build up but it is brilliant. x
