Just been for my routine check up with mw. My little bundle has spun into a breech position and my bp was 157/97!!! They're visiting me at home in 2 days for another bp check, but I'm very scared! Has anyone else has preeclampsia and what were your experiences with it?

I've had a heart murmur for 42 years. I joined the military and ran marathons, and have had 3 kids. I can still work myself into a blind panic about palpitations. grin

Step away from dr google and relax. They wouldn't have discharged you if they were immediately concerned, and they are keeping an eye x

It's just every time they've done an ecg on me it's come back abnormal, twave changes mainly, and the only way I can describe my palpitations is to say it does a tiny beat and then a massive beat which can occasionally hurt and then it stops for a second and then goes fast until it calms down! It's scary. And I don't know whether it's pregnancy doin this to me where my chest feels tight, like get a Braxton hicks, but alot of that tightness in the chest, doesn't last for more than a few seconds. How did they diagnose ur murmur?

I've always had it. Lots of investigations as a child.

Your palpitations sound v similar to mine, and although scary, have never caused me any problem. They get worse with my menstrual cycle, then disappear. Mine were always worse in pg. sometimes they seem to go away for long periods, and then scare me by returning.

Good luck x
