I've had bowel problems the last couple of days swinging from consitipation to diarreah.

I think the problem stems from a crap diet as I am 32 +2 with twins and can only manage a mouthful or 2 of food at a time. I've not ate anything dodgy, and I am not vomiting, and dont feel ill other than a little drained.

I have suffered from trapped wind and excruating pains over night. but after an explosion I feel fine.

This afternoon I have a consultation with a Cardio specialist, Twin specialist, thrombology and about 3 other Drs who are looking after me due to issues in my previous pregnancy. THere will also be a heart scan, and the final details discussed around my C-section.

Its an important meeting and the last before the big day and I really dont want to miss it.

I'm not sure what to do? Everthing seems to have settled down for the moment, but I dont want to be putting anyone else at risk iyswim?

I think if you feel well, not vomiting, and not having persistent diarrhoea, I'd go. Upset tummy so common at this stage. Good luck.

Well just spoke to the receptionist on the department who said that she couldn't advise and none of the doctors are there until my meeting!

I think that if i was contagious DH and DD would have some symptoms by now so I think its just an upset tummy. As long as I dont have an episode in the next hour I think I will go.

Still not 100% happy, as if it was less important, like a bog standard app that could be re-arranged then I'd happily cancel.

I think I will mention it up front so they dont feel the need to shake hands!
