This baby is really taking the proverbial.... I'm 11+4 and my horrible morning sickness has just eased off (3 days ago) but 2 days ago, the heartburn started.

At tips?

Gaviscon! It's my savior!
Avoid lying down after eating, avoid rich spicy foods and maybe eat more smaller meals?
Hope one of these helps x

Omeprazole. Get it from your GP. It saved my sanity.

Gavison is my best friend.

It lives at the side of my bed ready for a swig dose during the night. After the trips to the loo during the night when I lay down again heartburn starts.

I prefer the liquid to the tablets it seems to work better.

Thanks - it looks like Gaviscon. Any preference as to the best format / flavour? (or least worst?) Wink

Magnesium trisilicate works as well as gavsicon for me, but is nowhere near as vile. Not tasty, but doesn't make me want to vom quite as much.

Get a prescription tablet called renitidine or something like that. Once a day. Cured.

Gaviscon extra for me, feels like heaven as it trickles down your throat. And if ask your gp for a prescription ask for gaviscon & make sure the pharmacy doesn't give you the non branded stuff. I got some fake gaviscon & it was vile and so thick it made my gag
