Hi,
Sorry if this is TMI at times but I'm 37weeks+4 and have had a severe stomach upset for the last 12 hours. Any liquid I take in, or food (sticking to plain stuff because I am still hungry), just goes straight through me. I've actually been feeling unwell for longer. In the middle of last night I was woken several times with stomach cramps, feeling sick, needing the loo but every time I went nothing happened. Things didn't start moving until 9:00am today.
I have had some backache and stomach cramping too but my biggest issue is the diarrhoea and I'm worried I'm not keeping anything in. Baby seems a bit quieter than normal but not overly so & I understand babies slow down the bigger they get anyway.
At what point should I talk to a medical professional and who should I call? GP or midwife or the unit at the hospital?
