Hey I'm 5 weeks pregnant and experience mild on and off period like cramping. A heavy achy feeling. I also suffer with my bowls where I have to take fibogel daily. I get pains from my bowls aswell.
Should I be worried?

Hello
I'm 5 or 6 weeks pregnant. Full of symptoms and feel like I've got period cramps. Apparently its perfectly normal and your body adjusting to everything. I've got PCOS and as I was told that could mean I wouldn't get preg/higher chance of miscarriage I've booked a routine GP appt for Fri to get some reassurance. I have also had a lot of constipation but read it is hormone related and have changed to folic acid rather than just pregnacare as most likely the iron was making it worse. My best friend felt like she had IBS in her first preg so I keep remembering that. HOpe you feel better soon xx

Ah thank you Hun. I had a miscarriage in December so it's just making me a bit paranoid. This means so much to me and want it to be a succes this time and I should 12 week by June and announce it at my wedding. That's what I'm hoping for. Congrats to you too xxxx

When I was 5-6 weeks, I had period pains, and read that it's just your muscles and ligaments stretching. Just keep an eye on it and if it gets much worse or you start bleeding heavily, contact your GP or MW.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I had terrible cramping at that stage and went to a and e it got that bad. Turned out it was implantation cramps and everything was fine. So try not to worry but you can always call your bep / early pregnancy clinic at your local hospital if you want to be checked x

Thank you. I got a hospital appointment 4th June to have a deeper look at my bowels but doctor seems to think cos I suffered with anorexia for 5 years and the weight loss then weight have made my bowels to slowdown so just might take a while to work Better with my body. I generally get a bit of discomfort and pain on the evenings xxx I just want this pregnancy to work out for me. Xxxx
