Tmi warning; stomach bug 35 weeks

Sorry for the gross detail I'm about to go into!

I know loads of people that have had a stomach bug lately- including one annoying woman at work who was sick and came back the next day! I also am a teacher and so I know their are bugs etc going round from the lovely kiddies.

Last night I woke up with stomach pains and I kept burping dry burps that burned my throat. I took some gaviscon which helped for a little while but felt really sick as well. Throughout the night, I've woken nearly every hour with those painful burps and with other wind too as well as stomach pains. This morning I have been to the toilet and had diarrhea which, tmi, was pure water and literally poured out. I've still got stomach pains too.

I'm sure this is a bug- has anyone else had it? Do I need to worry about having it in pregnancy? Do I need to phone nhs direct or should I ride it out?

Many thanks for the advice x

Perhaps phone NHS for peace of mind?

And then make sure you keep replacing the fluids by drinking plenty of water.

You are sure where this liquid was coming from, right? As in, it couldn't have been your waters breaking, could it?

Keep hydrated. Fluids, fluids, fluids. Baby is well protected, but you need to replace fluids. Get well soon!
