Anyone else not gaining weight at 33/35 weeks?

I've only put on a stone so far at 35 weeks - it's not been deliberate, but I did start off heavier with this pregnancy - BMI 29.

I'm eating very well but haven't put on weight these last few weeks. I thought that I should be gaining more at this stage?

Anyone else in the same situation?

Yes I've stabilised around the same. BMI was 29 when I got pregnant, weight didn't really go on until second trimester and I'm 1 stone heavier at 38 weeks so not expecting to gain much more. Mine seems to be down to being very active at work (nurse on a ward!) and eating small meals erm not sure where the chocolate consumption fits in! I've been for an extra scan (to check baby wasn't breech) and she's a healthy weight and I'm measuring ok for dates so I'm not too worried! In fact I'm pretty pleased! :)

Just be happy unless you actively start losing weight - I started losing weight and DD was getting bigger on scans. Turned out I had gestational diabetes.

If your weight is staying the same you're doing something right and stepping away from the cream cakes... Wink

Glad to hear I'm not alone!

I have to confess I'm not active due to pelvic pain & am eating more or less what I want - albeit washed down with Gaviscon!

My DS was iUGR so I'm a bit paranoid about the baby not growing - but am having regular growth scans which are all fine.
