Pregnancy

When, if at all, did your morning sickness start?

Hello! I'm just over six weeks pregnant with my first baby, and so far I've had no sickness or nausea at all. I was really expecting to feel sick, and I know it might be just around the corner, so my question is: How many weeks were you when morning sickness started, and how long did it last?

Out of my two pregnancies I've only been sick once and I was around 15 weeks. Think something just disagreed with me!

About 5/6 weeks.. Lasted for about 30/32 weeks... Violent vomiting- then i felt kind if normal for about a month- then indigestion followed... Not half as bad though.
Fingers crossed you don't feel ill!!

With dd1 it went 4-20 weeks (was green, lost 2 stone!)
With ds, 6-9 weeks
With dd2, 5-16 weeks, but as I also had severe painful kidney problems so I'm not sure where the sickness stopped and the vomiting in pain (until dd2 was almost a year old) started. This is an educated guess!

I started to feel sick at approaching 6 weeks, started being sick at 9 weeks, had good days and bad days and after feeling that it got a little worse in week 12 mysteriously disappeared bang on 13 weeks!

I hope you don't feel sick at all!

About 6 weeks it started. Continued being sick at least 2-3 times a day until 21 weeks, and after that it was mostly just nausea, but was sick a couple more times if I smelt the wrong thing.

i had HG... sickness started at 5+1 and 6 weeks...

second time round having made it to 6 weeks i thought i would be spared the hell of HG for a second time.... boy did i have a shock 48 hours later as my battle to stay out of hospital began (and failed)

Mine kicked in with a vengence at 6 weeks but I was very sensitive to smells and felt nauseous on and off from a week before missed period.

I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant with DC2, and haven't had any morning sickness or nausea in either pregnancy.

I didn't have any. I read somewhere that only about 50% of pregnant women get morning sickness. (Can't remember where now though - no idea how reliable it is!)

3 weeks - hasn't stopped since. I have got it down to about 3-4 times a week, and if I avoid meat at all costs this helps (including fish etc). I am now going into 23 week. But it got a bit better at 16 weeks - before that I felt horrendous - mostly every day, or every other day, and had headaches the whole way through until then. I am anaemic (even with iron tablets on prescrip.) which I was told won't help - so something to think about if you have it badly. xx

Mine started at 6 weeks. All day sickness stopped at about 18 weeks. Still feel sick in the mornings now at 27 weeks. I count myself lucky though as I had HG in my last pregnancy.

I had none either. But found some things, like cleaning my teeth made me feel like gagging.
Congrats on your pregnancy!
