Don't worry, it was nothing to do with the baby. I had some allergy to pregnancy that caused a horrid itch and I was ripping my skin off, literally. I also had SPD and problems from a genetic disorder and issues with my heart and blood pressure. Don't worry, being induced that early isn't common.
Try and relax and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy. I am pregnant with number 2 now.
I can see why you're nervous. I'm so sorry about your first pregnancy.
Congratulations and try not to worry. Your midwife will always tell you if anything is of significance. Being engaged is just something they routinely check for, it's not an indication of imminent labour or anything. If you are ever unsure however, ask your midwife. No question too silly. Or ask on here. I guarantee you won't be the first to ask it!
Do you know what you're having? How has your pregnancy been?
I am so sorry to hear about your last pregnancy. As show says, ask your MW if you have any worries or ask on here. Everyone is really helpful and I don't know what I would have done without the advice on here.
Oh lovely. My smallest child is a boy (19 months today) and he is currently emptying his Dad's tools out of his toolbox for the 783rd time today whilst shouting 'hammmmeeeerrrrr, bonk bonk bang, hammmmeeeerrrr'. Little boys are a bit marvellous.
I had a couple of losses too and it does somewhat mar your experience of pregnancy as you're very aware of what can go wrong. Have a v happy, healthy last few weeks and remember, boys can pee in your eye if you aren't ever vigilant.
Oh blimey. In his own mouth? My friend's ds managed to wee in a perfect arc into her handbag... DS actually has never managed to wee al fresco. As soon as you put his nappy on he does it, but whip his nappy off and he won't go. We first discovered this when trying to collect a urine sample at 5 months. I'm not sure which way is preferable. Potty training could be v difficult. You have an 18 month old and are having another? Bloody well done you. I'm a bit . I asked dh the other day if we could have another, just a small one. He's still laughing.
Yep, I had lifted his legs to put the nappy under him and wasn't expecting it.
I'm actually that your DS doesn't prefer to pee all over the floor! Maybe one of those singing potties would help with that? I think they look great but DS just wants to wear the potty as a hat but happily poos in his nappy while sitting on my knee in the loo.
No, not well done me! My nuvaring failed (don't be getting any ideas from that ) I was in utter shock, DS is just 18 months and I am 24 weeks on Fri! <faints>
Maybe your DH will come round, after all at least he will know what to do now!
