39 plus 5 now, no sign of baby. The only thing i seem to have is excessive amounts of wind! Poor partner feels like he's in chemical warfare!!
Anyone else suffering the same?? If so have you found anything that might stop it??

I think it's a hormonal thing. Unless you can pinpoint something you've eaten. I've had bouts of it on and off during this pregnancy. Last time is a fews ago, I got it right after I had the whooping cough vaccine. This is only a guess but maybe yours is a sign that things are changing and baby will come soon. Women often get loose stools before labour starts. Perhaps that will happen next, but as I say, I'm only guessing! Good luck.

Peppermint tea helps. I think the doctor can prescribe peppermint tablets too, but I'm not sure. My sister was given some during pregnancy with her first dc.

This article doesn't favour peppermint tea in the 3rd trimester.

Thank you ladies. Yeah i had heard that peppermint tea helps, but can increase the heartburn and reflux, which is why i have stayed away. Will try the probiotic to see if it helps. its soo embarrassing when your out and about and its uncontrollable!!

Really muma? I suffered terrible heartburn and reflux with DS and found that peppermint tea after dinner used to calm things down. I took it throughout the second and third trimester. I think it has different effects on different women.

Ill give it a try then Fakebook. The raspberry leaf tea is giving me worse heartburn/indigestion anyway. Hoping that i wont have to be taking anything soon. Hoping baby wants to come out and make an appearance.
