We don't normally do anything as one of us is normally working. This year DH is on nights. We normally do a card but that's about it. Could you plan a quiet night in, a bottle of bubbly or soft drink equiv, nice cheese board? Share a bath if you both fit. A new DVD?

I'm making DP a batch of Love Heart cookies (like the sweets but cookies with messages on) and he's making me the world's best homemade burger as always. We don't do the big present thing. Smile

Oh Nicky - that so sweet you still thinking of valentines so close to dd.
I am getting a card and maybe some aftershave - have done plenty of romantic things over the 16 years we have been together and being so pregnant now going out to me is just uncomfortable - sex is def not a option as I hate the way my belly feels so hard afterwards!!!!
But with your due date so close you may spend it in the labour ward!!!
No better way to say " I love you" then having his baby right!!!!
Good luck x

Nothing! We've never 'done' valentines day. Commercialised rubbish if you ask me. Yep. Nothing to do with the fact that DH's birthday 3 days afterwards and it has only just been christmas. That man is spoiled enough!

We're really unromantic and have decided that marriage, a mortgage and 5 DCs is enough of our expression of love for each other. We will just snuggle up on the sofa and hopefully watch a film on TV. I'm due on Valentine's day, so like you aren't feeling the sexy underwear thing this year, at all.

I'm making him take me to see the new die hard movie... Nothing says 'I love you' like watching Bruce Willis blow stuff up for 2 hours!

We don't really do much on valentines, this year we are going to our favourite restaurant because we spent our early relationship eating out all over the place almost daily and haven't done it in ages. I will probably develop an aversion to everything on the menu! But it will be nice to spend some time out with him.

a card and a nice m and s dine-in meal after the kids have gone to bed.
I'll be 31 weeks and probably still up for a shag, although sexy underwear won't be part of the proceedings.

I've got DH a card and that's it. We'll see each other for half an hour whilst putting DS to bed then I'm off to work until 8am! We don't usually do stuff as it was our wedding anniversary 2 weeks before.

Got DH a card and some batman cuff links so he can feel like a superhero at work just cheap token gift that won't clutter up my house.

Can't believe you are being so considerate of valentines day so close to Due date you are a saint! A bit of sex may help encourage baby to arrive!

We have a babysitter on the Friday - once in a blue moon - so getting some food and going to watch die hard 4 at the pics - very romantic ha ha
