My DH is very supportive and says if he could get pregnant he would fly through the 9 months with ease!!! Ermmmm really!!!! Can you handle!

  1. All day sickness.

2 overwhelming tiredness.
3 insomnia when your worrying the day before scan!
4.sore boobs that feel like razors!!!
5.the weight gain and not fitting in to any clothes!
  1. Working when you want to crawl onto the sofa!
  2. Looking after other dc and doing house chores!

8.swollen ankles,spots, spd, backache etc!!!!
  1. Being punched kicked and your bladder being used as a punch bag!

10. A DH/OH not understanding why your crying at watching advert for pampers!!!!

I could actually say more but this is for starter!

Or THE FEAR of coughing at work and not knowing if you'll fart when you do. Or sneezing and not knowing if you'll leave a puddle behind... Blush

Hmm, my DH would never be able to go 9+ months without a drink...

And of course the labour! My DH is such a baby... he did the most pained 'ouuuuch' this morning and I in a panic asked 'are you okay??' His response? 'Yeah, I just had an itchy hand.' Thank goodness I am the one giving birth.

Ha ha remembering I sneezed this morning at work and dribbled in my knickers - lucky I had spares in my bag as I learnt last time this happened! Also the drink thing - DH says I'll not drink for 9 months too, he lasted a week!

Did you all get the incredibly enhanced sense of smell too, cooking/eating/standing next to the guy with terrible BO at work, were all a bit of a challenge.

Dh also had thirds for dinner tonight and spent the evening rubbing his tummy telling me he thinks he might explode as he is sooooooooo uncomfortable. Meanwhile I am on all fours trying to stop baby breaking through my diaphragm into my lungs. Poor little love x

DH complained the other day because baby was kicking so much it made the mattress jump and wake him. I gently reminded him that there is a barrier of my ribs and abdomen between those kicks and the mattress/him.
Had a bleed yesterday and needed to go into hospital at 5am if course I had to make DH a cup of coffee and drag him out of bed first they are bloody useless!!
Laughing at the wees so true

My Dh husband said that if men had babies we wouldn't have any! Currently expecting dc3 and Dh is a great dad but thinks there is no way he could do labour!

I asked my partner if he would have the baby for me if he could and he said.... NO. I think that is why women were designed to do it - because if they had to do it the human race would have stopped hundreds of years ago. He keeps talking about how I will be fine in my first labour - it is what you were designed to do.... it is what you are here for ..... it is your purpose in life as a woman... mmmm....

I spent the night in hospital to which DH was pleased as he got a decent nights sleep without me disturbing him moving around and going to the loo! Honestly lol

Power with no off switch!
@milky- I can't remember me finishing a meal in a good while,but still
Gaining weight!
@emsy- oh no hope your ok after going hospital!!! I would have to off given him the hot tea in his lap!!! He would then think again before expecting me to do that again in a hurry!
Super king size bed is my saving grace!!!!
@iam- have to give him credit most men think they can do everything! It being your 1st - I hope you pack him snacks!!!!

Upside- as I take ages to do everything DH doesn't asked me to do things as its quicker for him to do himself, so he cooked a great dinner today!
Avoiding the heartburn ain't so easy as have to eat early!!!
DH said it looks like I'm losing weight I didn't know how to take that comment!!!! ( if looks could kill)

My DH could probably handle pain, discomfort, paranoia and sleeplessness but there is no way in God's green earth that he could go without a drink that long. Said he wast going to drink in the week to "support" me. So now the weekend starts on Thursday. Hmmmm.

I'm tea total so not drinking isn't a problem! But can't go no where with out my panty liners now! If I cough/sneeze/laugh/cry the fear of springing a leak is too much!!!
DH freaks abit when he sees/feels baby moving how does he think I cope with it all the time and the enternal hiccups!!!!! And feeling baby is trying to dig its way out through my bladder or nearest exit!!!!

the constant and overwhelming desire to tell each and every person you meet in the day how shit you feel, and the similarly constant and overwhelming desire to cycle between wanting to cry, crying, wanting to shout and scream, wanting to die (not literally, but I mean you're so exhausted that you think you've only got hours to live), wanting to throw up, throwing up, feeling life is sooo unfaaaaiiiiirrr, inexplicable happiness, wanting to dance and sing.....

oh, yeah, the smell !!

I have a very strong sense of smell anyway, and it was like torture!
when smelly people stand near you and you want to vomit all over them because they now smell like before x 10000000000000000

oh I don't know. I reckon my DP could carry off a pregnancy with more grace than me. I did nothing but whinge and moan for 9 months x 3.

stoic I am not.

Really wish men could experience some of this. OH snapped at me the other day for 'being lazy' because I only changed the dishwasher plumbing (don't ask), loaded it and did it and put tea in (at a time when spending any time in the kitchen was making me retch).

I asked him to remember how much he did the last time he had a hangover/cold/ headache and pointed out that either of those lasts up to 48hours - pregnancy lasts for weeks and weeks!

He still didn't get it. Annoying!
