Just feel like my friend is getting sick of hearing about everything, im only 7 weeks gone so i havent announced it yet. But im still very excited and its all i want to talk about. Yet the people im allowing to know are sick of it lol. Any young pregnant mums around? Im 21 and going this alone, the dad has ran a mile, but thats fine, ive got the support of my family :) xx

Congratulations!!! I'm not young- (31) however just wanted to say I know how you feel! I am 10 weeks, and not telling everyone is so difficult! Glad you have support around you.

Congratulations again!!

I'm also not young (33) but also having my first. I'm only 6+2 and we've only told our parents and a couple of very close friends.

I know how you feel - it is literally the only thing I want to talk about. I can see my friends who know glazing over and I just can't stop!

Congratulations OP! In a few weeks we'll be able to tell everyone! Grin

It is very easy to become a pregnancy bore, no matter what age you are. Find the antenatal club on here and use that as a forum to discuss everything. With your friends try to keep it low key and to a reasonable minimum. People will be happy for you, but it is easy to go overboard without realising, people can back off if they think that you are going to change totally, and you need your friends and support.

Erm please can the 31 and 33 year olds please kindly retract 'not young' comments? I'm 31 and desperately clinging to 'young'!

I'm 21 and 32 weeks, so we're quite ahead lol :) You have every right to be excited :) So don't worry, the forums are really good on here, and there's multiple other sites that you can meet local people and get everything off your chest :) Good luck lovely xx

congratulations :) i'm 21 with my second (i'm 11w + 3d according to midwife though im sure i'm only 9w something lol) and i havn't really been able to talk to anyone about it as my partners brother and his wife have been trying for ages and not sure they are ready to talk about it and my best friend has been told she may not be able to have any more coz of medical problems (she has 1 already) aand my sister has been trying for ages too and don't want to upset her by going on! so yeh it can be hard but then that is what this forum is for right? congratulations again an hope pregnancy goes well xxx
