Ok so I'm totally cacking my pants about my section tomorrow. I'm 37 weeks today and have to have a section due to high bp (previous pre eclampsia) and polyhydramnios (too much fluid). I'm super excited to meet my baby boy and excited about getting my body back (I'm currently measuring 44weeks!) but I'm soooooo nervous too. Anyone fancy holding my hand?

This is my 2nd pregnancy my first ds was born via EMCS and was a really crappy experience. So I'm also looking forward to having a more positive and relaxed experience this time. Nerves have kicked in all of a sudden and feeling really sick!!!

No need to worry. They've done it all before!

They really are enjoyable. The needle in your back doesn't hurt, the people there are really nice.

hand holding for you. hopefully this time tomorrow you will be snuggling your new baby Smile. it will be so much more relaxed than your EMCS - i was even allowed to eat (lightly) on the morning of my ELCS, had a lovely chat with all the theatre staff, 'twas very civilised.
good luck and enjoy those snuggles!

Good luck. I remember doing odd little things like hair washing before going into hospital (induced).

Hope you're soon snuggling your new baby.

Hi pip so glad to hear everything ok, your boy sounds like a chunk hehe,

My little lady was born at 9.39am weighed 6lbs4oz.

Were in special care baby unit as she is having a hard time.

Its all a bit poo especially when trying to deal with section pain as well.
