Why has my MW marked a totally wrong measurement on my notes?

I just had MW appt and she said she makes the fundal measurement 34. I'm nearly 37 weeks.

I'm booked for another growth scan next week anyway but I looked on the chart in my notes and she's put a massive cross at 37.

Any ideas why she would do this? She made a thing out of not being overly concerned, as she can feel that the baby is a decent size. Is the chart just to mark the size of the baby or the actual fundal height?

TIA!

My guess is that it is just a simple mistake. She measured you at 34 weeks when you are 37 weeks and just did it wrong.

Get in touch with her if you are worried to ask.

Thankyou, I'll maybe mention it when I next see her or her colleague. They seem to have some sort of rivalry going on about how to measure correctly - she told me they tease each other about it as each thinks the other does it wrong!!

But she definitely said, I make it 34, and we discussed it further later on. The chart is a bit odd anyway - the weeks are all one ahead, it makes zero sense to me Smile

Thanks x
